is movement, and it saturates our lives. It is especially appropriate as a title for this section, because it concerns one of the greatest things I know - Swedish folk music and folk dance.

I began playing fiddle in 1994, and have aquired other folk instruments since then. My repertoire of music has developed through playing with local musicians and in Scandinavia.

1999-2000 I attended the Eric Sahlström Institute in Tobo, Sweden. There I played nyckelharpa all day and was able to experience Sweden in every season. Why did it have to end?

I'm Currently working at the Gordon Ekvall Tracie Music Library (housed at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle.) I owe a great deal to both the Museum and Skandia Folkdance Society who have supported my ambitions whole-heartedly through the years.
